Service Builds Value, Existence Forges Future.
A ground-source heat pump is an energy-efficient device that uses shallow geothermal resources (soil, groundwater, surface water) for heating, cooling and domestic hot water supply. It only consumes a small amount of electricity to transfer the constant underground heat (usually 10-20℃). It takes heat from the ground for heating in winter, discharges indoor heat to the ground for cooling in summer, and can provide domestic hot water all year round.
It is like an "energy mover of the earth" — it does not generate heat itself, but only transfers it:
Winter: Absorbs heat from the ground, compresses and heats it, then delivers heating to the room.
Summer: Absorbs heat from the room, compresses and heats it, then discharges it to the ground for cooling.
All year round: Can provide domestic hot water at the same time, which is more energy-saving than traditional air conditioners and boilers.
Soil-source (ground loop): Special pipes are buried underground to form a closed-loop heat exchange. It does not consume groundwater, is the most commonly used, and is suitable for residential buildings and villas with open space.
Groundwater-source: Extracts groundwater for heat exchange with high efficiency, but the water must be recharged underground. It is suitable for areas with abundant groundwater.
Surface water-source: Uses water from rivers, lakes and seas for heat exchange with low cost. It is suitable for buildings near water sources.
Super energy-saving: Consumes 1 kWh of electricity to produce 3-5 kWh of heat, saving about 70% of electricity costs compared with electric boilers.
Full function: One machine can meet the needs of heating, cooling and domestic hot water, usable all year round.
Super stable: The underground temperature is constant, and it can operate normally regardless of extreme cold or hot weather.
Pollution-free: No combustion process, no exhaust gas, low noise, green and environmentally friendly.
Long service life: Underground pipelines can be used for 50 years, and the main unit can be used for more than 20 years, with simple maintenance and low cost.
High initial investment: The construction cost of underground pipe burial is high, 2-3 times more expensive than ordinary air conditioners.
High site requirements: Sufficient open space or underground space is needed for laying pipelines.
Complex construction: Professional teams are required for geological exploration and construction; it cannot be installed randomly.
Usage restrictions: Groundwater-source type is restricted by policies and geological conditions, and cannot be used after power outage.
Newly-built residential buildings, villas, office buildings, schools, hotels, etc.; rural self-built houses and areas without natural gas; users who plan to use it for a long time (more than 10 years) and pursue energy conservation and environmental protection.
Select power by area: About 80-100 watts per square meter for ordinary residential buildings; you can choose a slightly smaller one if the house has good thermal insulation.
Choose the right type: Prioritize soil-source (ground loop) if there is open space; consider surface water-source if near water sources.
Choose regular brands: Prioritize qualified brands with guaranteed after-sales service, and find professional teams for construction.
